The 2020 NBA All-Star Game is going to be an emotional gathering as the community comes together to honor the tragic deaths of Kobe and Gianna Bryant.
Already having implemented specific rule changes to honor Kobe Bryant during the game, both teams will wear uniforms that honor him and his daughter, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Additionally, both teams will wear jersey patches with nine stars to represent the nine people who lost their lives in the crash.
Teams around the league have honored Bryant and his daughter in creative and touching ways in the days since the tragic helicopter accident that took their lives, and the lives of seven other people. And on Feb. 16, the entire NBA community will continue to remember their lives and passing as All-Star weekend will be full of tributes.
