Potential 2016 first-round pick Harold Brantley, 21, was seriously injured in a one-car accident just outside of Columbia, MO. on Sunday.
According to the state highway patrol, Brantley’s car veered off Highway 63. When he attempted to over-correct, the car slid off the highway, hitting a guardrail and overturning.

According to the Columbia Missourian, Brantley was taking to the University Hospital where he is in serious condition. A passenger in the car, Madeline Stock, who plays for the school’s women’s basketball, team was listed in good condition.
A redshirt sophomore last season, the 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive tackle recorded five sacks. He’s considered one of the top interior defensive line prospects to watch around the college football world.
