Top-seeded Maria Sakkari of Greece and second-seeded Anett Kontaveit of Estonia advanced to the final of the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Saturday.

Sakkari recorded a 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4 victory over Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania in their semifinal match on Saturday. Sakkari rallied from a break down to win her match in just over three hours to advance to her fourth career WTA singles final.

Sakkari will bid for her second career title when she challenges Kontaveit, who had an easier time of it against seventh-seeded Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia. Kontaveit recorded her 19th consecutive indoor victory following a 6-3, 6-4 win in one hour and 11 minutes over the 2015 St. Petersburg champion.

Kontaveit will vie for her sixth career title when she faces Sakkari. They each have won six matches in their career against the other.
