Even though he’s not on an NBA roster, Mac McClung has been invited to participate in the NBA Slam Dunk contest at this season’s All-Star weekend, according to a report from The Athletic.

McClung won the contest last year in Salt Lake City with a dazzling display of acrobatic dunks. He was the first G-League player ever to participate in the contest after signing a two-week contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.

McClung has played in four NBA games in his career — two for Philadelphia and one for the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls and averaged 8.3 points on 46.2% shooting.

He plays with the Orlando Magic’s G League team, the Osceola Magic, and has averaged 25.4 points and 6.3 assists in 13 games. He was named G-League Player of the Month in November.

McClung played two seasons for Georgetown and one for Texas Tech.
