Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball has missed his team’s last seven games with a knee injury. On Tuesday, coach Luke Walton noted that while Ball will not play in Wednesday’s game at the Orlando Magic, a return on the road trip is possible.
Luke Walton said Lonzo Ball won’t play tomorrow in Orlando. He continues to progress with rehab, but has yet to practice. Walton didn’t rule out that Ball “could” play on the current trip, but only if the knee progresses to that point. They won’t rush him back.

Ball last played on January 13.
If he is to return on the current road trip, he will be back on Sunday. After their game in Orlando, the Lakers will continue the trip against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, and wrap it up against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
The Lakers are 19-30 and well out of playoff contention in the Western Conference. With that in mind, don’t expect to see Ball again until there’s no doubt about his health, as there’s no reason to rush him back into action.
