Dallas Mavericks star rookie Luka Doncic kicked the ball into the stands Saturday and was ejected for his second technical of the night.
It was the first time in his young career that Doncic was ejected from an NBA game.
Now he’s going to pay for that faux pas, as the league has fined him $10,000 for the incident, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
If you look at the replay, it’s pretty clear that, while Doncic was frustrated, he wasn’t exactly trying to boot the ball into the upper deck.

A European player who often kicks the ball to himself using soccer techniques, this one seemed to just get away from him a bit. Lesson learned.
