LOOK: Mookie Betts in Dodgers gear is all sorts of weird

Mookie Betts trade, Red Sox,

The Los Angeles Dodgers held their introductory press conference for new stars Mookie Betts and David Price on Wednesday. The presser was held at Dodger Stadium and came mere days after the blockbuster trade with the Boston Red Sox was finalized.

Needless to say, this represented one of the biggest deals in modern Major League Baseball history. Seeing Betts in a Dodgers uniform after spending so many seasons in Boston was also pretty darn weird. Check it out.

That will take some getting used to.

Betts was also asked about a potential contract extension with the Dodgers. He said that’s not the focus right now. Instead, it’s all about finding a house.

Betts, 27, is set to become a free agent after the 2020 season. The 2018 AL MVP has posted a .305 average with 116 homers, 375 RBI and a .917 OPS over the past four seasons. Los Angeles hopes he and Price help the team to its first World Series title since 1989.
