LOOK: Former teammate uses J.R. Smith to shade Donovan McNabb

Say what you want about LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar does in fact stand up for his teammates.

He’s not one to throw someone under the bus after a hard-fought loss like we saw in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors Thursday night.

Just ask teammate J.R. Smith, who made one of the most egregious errors in the history of the NBA Finals.

Taking this opportunity to throw shade in the direction of a teammate, former Philadephia Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell called out future Hall of Fame quarterback Donovan McNabb.

Check it out here.

Talk about being extra petty. Obviously, Mitchell and McNabb did not get along during their four years together in Philadelphia. Though, the two last stepped on a football field as teammates some 14 years ago. Maybe get over it, Freddie.

In any event, Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals will go down as one of the best ever. It included Smith’s unbelievable blunder and a questionable foul call against LeBron James.

It culminated in the defending champion Warriors running Cleveland out of Oracle in overtime to take a 1-0 series lead.
