Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos will miss Saturday night’s game against the Nashville Predators with an undisclosed injury, the team announced.

Stamkos also is unlikely to play against the Predators on Tuesday night.

“He’s not playing tonight and he’s probably doubtful for Tuesday night,” Lightning coach Jon Cooper said.

“We probably won’t see him on the rest of the road trip, and then we’ll have more answers when we come back to Tampa.”

The Lightning return home after two games in Nashville to play two games against the Florida Panthers on April 15 and 17.

Stamkos, 31, has 17 goals and 17 assists in 38 games this season for the Lightning (27-11-2).
