Just like he did in each of his previous 855 games, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James topped 10 points during Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. Upon doing so, he tied an NBA record previously held by Michael Jordan.

The last time LeBron failed to score 10 points in a game? January 5, 2007 against the Milwaukee Bucks. In fact, LeBron has only failed to reach 10 points on seven other occasions in his career. Six of those came as a rookie.
Cleveland will take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Barring a rather significant surprise, LeBron will hold the record all to himself at the end of that contest.
