The Toronto Maple Leafs announced contract extensions for forward Kyle Clifford and defenseman Carl Dahlstrom on Wednesday.

Cliford’s is a two-year extension through 2023-24 with an average annual value of $762,500. Dahlstrom signed a one-year, two-way extension with an NHL salary of $750,000 in 2022-23.

Clifford, 31, has recorded two assists in 10 games with the Maple Leafs this season. He has 142 points (65 goals, 77 assists) and 879 penalty minutes in 738 games with the Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues and Leafs.

Dahlstrom, 27, has only skated in one game with Toronto this season. He has 10 assists and 14 penalty minutes in 65 career games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Winnipeg Jets and Maple Leafs.

Both players were second-round draft picks, Clifford by the Kings in 2009 and Dahlstrom by the Blackhawks in 2013. Clifford won two Stanley Cups with Los Angeles in 2012 and 2014.
