Lane Kiffin trolls Tennessee amid coaching search debacle

By Jesse Reed

Lane Kiffin is apparently not interested in a second tenure as head coach of Tennessee’s football program, based on a tweet he sent out Monday morning.

Linking to a column in which it was postulated that Kiffin could save face on the football front, the current head coach of Florida Atlantic made it clear he’s happy right where he is.

Never stop tweeting, Lane Kiffin.

Tennessee’s coaching search has turned into a national story, and for all the wrong reasons. Greg Schiano was set to be announced as the next head coach before protesters put a stop to all that.

Now there are reports that Schiano wants compensation for having the deal nixed after an agreement was struck, and big-money boosters are calling for athletic director John Currie to be removed from his position.
