Lamar Jackson in concussion protocol after teammate accidentally kicked him in head

The Baltimore Ravens have been rolling with Lamar Jackson under center the past few weeks, but on Sunday the rookie took a shot to the head and was placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Unfortunately, it was Jackson’s own teammate that got him in the head, with his foot, no less.

Jackson left the game with his team leading the Atlanta Falcons by a field goal. He had completed 11-of-18 passes for 117 yards, adding 35 yards and a tremendous touchdown on the ground.

Robert Griffin III replaced Jackson in the starting lineup.
