Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar JacksonĀ made his first career start on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. He entered the history books in the process.

With his 23rd carry in the game, Jackson broke the record for most rushing attempts by a quarterback. It was previously held by then-Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

Tebow’s previous record of 22 was set in an overtime win against the then San Diego Chargers during the 2011. Jackson, though, was much more effective with his runs. Tebow ran for only 67 yards in his 22 attempts.

Prior to victory formation, Jackson had 24 carries for 120 yards. He finished the day with 27 carries for 117 yards.
