Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving hasn’t played since the middle of November due to a right shoulder injury, but he’s set to finally get back onto the court.

Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters Friday that he’s “pleased with how we’re progressing” and that Irving will practice Saturday and be evaluated afterward, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Alex Schiffer of The Athletic also shared Atkinson saying there is no set number of practices Irving would need to complete before coming back.

Before being injured, Irving was having a strong statistical season, averaging 28.5 points, 7.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. The big question when he comes back is how Irving will re-integrate into Brooklyn’s lineup.

Though, considering the Nets have lost their last seven games, it’s clear they could use a boost.
