Four-time PGA Tour winner Kevin Kisner will work as an analyst for NBC Sports for The Sentry, the tour’s season opener, and the WM Phoenix Open.

Kisner, 39, has fallen to 183rd in the Official World Golf ranking and is not eligible for either of the first two designated events on the 2024 schedule. So he will try his hand as an analyst, with NBC Sports evaluating its talent after parting ways with Roger Maltbie and Gary Koch in 2022 and declining to renew lead analyst Paul Azinger’s contract this year.

“I’m excited to have this opportunity with NBC Sports to watch the game of golf from the other side and comment on what I’m seeing on the course,” Kisner said.

Kisner played in three events during the FedEx Fall after returning from injury. He made all three cuts, but his best finish was a tie for 51st at the Sanderson Farms Championship.

Kisner’s most recent victory came at the 2021 Wyndham Championship. He also won the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and reached as high as 14th in the world rankings.

Paul McGinley served as the lead analyst for the recent Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, but NBC Sports has yet to decide on a permanent replacement for Azinger. Geoff Ogilvy has been rumored as another potential candidate.
