Washington cornerback Kevin King was one of many prospects invited attend the 2017 NFL Draft. He was not the only one to go undrafted in Thursday’s first round but according to Fox’s Charles Davis, he was the only one to return on Friday.
It ended up being a good move for King. He was not in the draft room long. The Green Bay Packers selected King with the first pick of the second round.
And the second round and Friday night are underway.

Even before he was selected, King was determined to not only enjoy his moment, but share it with those closest to him.

After seeing so many of these moments, it’s easy to take for granted how special this moment is for these players. It was nice to see King get that moment he returned to the green room for.
