It sounds as if Justin Blackmon is OK after being involved in what the Florida Highway Patrol is saying single-car accident. Alcohol apparently wasn’t involved, which is huge for Blackmon as he’d be facing a potential one year suspension due to prior incidents. Chad Henne, officially the Jags’ man, needs Blackmon REAL bad. Henne lucked out. Justin Blackmon has shown he can play in this league. What he’s been unable to do is shake the perception that he’s not committed to the game. The Jaguars took a chance and it hasn’t paid off. At some point, the team is going to have to make a decision on him, and it may be time to consider trading him. You have to wonder, would the Jaguars be that upset if they had to cut Blackmon due to a year long suspension?
