Only five games into his first season back as head coach of the Oakland Raiders, it’s already tough to take Jon Gruden seriously.
While previewing the upcoming matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, Gruden shared his praise for current Raiders who previously played for the NFC West squad.
Jon Gruden raving about Marshawn Lynch and Bruce Irvin on conference call with Seattle media: "Wish we had more ex-Seahawks on our team. We'll try to get more of them.''

Gruden must have decided he’d like to flirt with the NFL’s tampering rules heading into Week 6’s clash against the Seahawks in London. Bold choice, Jon.
This man is a press-conference treasure.
Shortly before the season began, Gruden and Co. traded All-Pro end Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. Since then, Gruden has bemoaned the Raiders’ lack of a consistent pressure and said it’s hard to find a great pass-rusher.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are 1-4. Have fun searching for former Seahawks, Gruden!
