Johnny Manziel answers critics with interesting tweets

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was just indicted on assault charges stemming from an incident earlier this year with his ex-girlfriend, Coleen Crowley.

This comes after the Browns released Manziel following numerous off-field incidents during his two-year stint with the team.

Attempting to quiet critics on Twitter (that usually works well), Manziel had this to say on Friday:

There are so many different ways we can go with this.

Does Manziel mean his propensity to consume a large amountĀ of adult beverages?

Remember, Manziel did spend a lengthy amount of time in an alcohol rehabilitation program last year before returning to the bottle during the 2015 season.

All of this led to the former Heisman winner being released from his Browns contract after just two seasons.

At the very least, Manziel did admit to making mistakes. That’s always the first step in overcoming your own demons.

It’s still not a great idea for someone in his situation to take to social media as a way to call out those who have questioned his actions. This will lead to more skeptics throwing criticism his way.
