The New York Jets posted a really sick burn against the Cleveland Browns on Twitter Friday morning. It was a photo of a sad dog wearing a cone of shame and was accompanied by the hashtag #sit.
Then they took it down.

The cone of shame really should be worn by whoever decided that tweet had to be taken down.
I cannot believe the Jets deleted this. If you're going to serve up the burn, don't take it down after a bit of pressure. #Jets #Browns pic.twitter.com/MZj6ylOpIj

There’s nothing wrong with a little fun on social media before a game. Though, perhaps the idea of a perennial loser like the Jets throwing shade at another perennial loser like the Browns caused more backlash than the team’s social media department thought was possible.
Thankfully, the Internet never forgets.
