The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Nick Foles with the hope that he could uplift this team back into contention. Now Jacksonville is left holding its breath after he suffered a left shoulder injury and was immediately ruled out for the game after being taken to the locker room.

The medical staff examined him and walked him into the locker room immediately after he threw his first touchdown with the Jaguars.

Rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew is filling in at quarterback with Foles out for the remainder of the day. The severity of the injury could play a critical role in determining how far the Jaguars go this season.
