Hornets Venom GT became the NBA 2K League’s first two-time winner of The Turn tournament in Washington, defeating Blazer5 Gaming 2-1 on Saturday in the championship series.

The Hornets clinched the title with a 68-57 win in Game 3. They won the first game 77-47, but the Blazers came back in Game 2 to win 66-57.

The tournament’s MVP, point guard Antoine “antoinelove” Times, averaged 23.0 points and 8.7 assists in the Finals for the Hornets. Center Kingsley “Crown” Braggs added averages of 12.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

The Hornets also won the tournament in 2021. The Blazers won the first Turn in 2018.

The top five teams in each conference at the conclusion of The Turn qualify for the playoffs. The remaining 15 teams will compete in The Ticket for the final two playoff berths.
