J.J. Watt has earned many prestigious awards, and the Guinness brewery in Dublin, Ireland added another honor to his growing collection.

Watt took a trip across the pond with his 10 best friends.

The Houston Texans defensive end tweeted out a couple of pictures from the trip to the brewery, where they found a special gift waiting:

Darren Rovell of ESPN reached out to Watt after seeing the tweets and found out the trip with his friends is something special he does to honor their friendship:

The trip is a thank-you for being loyal and a chance for me to be a normal guy because they don’t treat me like a superstar, they treat me like the normal guy that I am.”

Watt also said Guinness reached out to him after finding out his favorite beer was, of course, Guinness, which he fell in love with three years ago on his first trip to Ireland.

The good stories never seem to cease where Watt is concerned. Not only is he one of the NFL’s superstars on the field, but his efforts off it have made for countless tales of compassion, grace and heart.
