The Minnesota Vikings take on the Bears for Monday Night Football in Chicago. If an interesting winning tradition keeps to script, the Vikings should come out victorious.

“In honor of Leif Erikson Day, I’ve done some research, according to a Reddit user. It turns out, propelled by the spirit of their Viking forebear, the Minnesota Vikings have gone 7-0 when playing on Leif Erikson Day.”

Well. Somebody has been doing their homework. Can the Bears break this streak, or will the Vikings continue to be successful on Leif Erikson Day?

The Vikings will be starting Sam Bradford who has missed the past three games. For the Bears, they are rolling with rookie Mitch Trubisky who was chosen to start after all of quarterback Mike Glennon’s fails.

For what it is worth, in the Vikings’ 112-game history against the Bears, they sport a 58-52-2 record.

We will see soon enough whether the Vikings can continue their perfect record on the most Minnesota of holidays.
