With Josh Brown’s ugly situation hanging over the team, the New York Giants have added an experienced kicker, signing Randy Bullock.

To make room for Bullock, the team waived Tom Obarski.

What this means for Brown’s status with the team remains to be seen.

Brown is due to serve a one-game suspension at the beginning of the year. If he remains with the team, the 2016 season will be his fourth with the Giants. He was originally drafted in 2003 by the Seattle Seahawks.

Bullock was drafted by the Houston Texans 2012, and after missing his rookie year he began kicking with Houston in 2013. He was released by the Texans in 2015 and was picked up by the New York Jets.

In his career, Bullock has made 75 of 93 field goal attempts for an 80.6% success rate. Outside of 40 yards, he’s been far less dependable, hitting only 68.1% (or 32-for-47) on longer kicks. In 2015, Bullock made 82.6% (or 19-for-23) of his kicks between the Texans and Jets.
