Giancarlo Stanton on 10-day injured list with biceps strain

The New York Yankees have placed star outfielder Giancarlo Stanton on the 10-day injured list with a left biceps strain. In a corresponding move, they’re bringing up Clint Frazier from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Jon Morosi of MLB Network noted.

Stanton is 2-for-8 with seven walks, a run scored and four strikeouts in three games so far this season. In his last outing against Baltimore, he went 0-for-2 with three walks and two strikeouts.

The next 10 days will see New York hit the road. The Yankees are set to host the Detroit Tigers for three games first. Atfter that, they’re headed to Baltimore for three games against the Orioles before heading to Houston for another three-game road trip against the Astros.
