The Dallas Cowboys not only dominated the NFC and won the division, they also crushed the market in merchandise sales.

According to a report by the NFLPA, running back Ezekiel Elliott’s merchandise was the top seller among all NFL players. He becomes the first rookie to finish No. 1 in merchandise sales.

He was followed by Dak Prescott’s at No. 2 and Dez Bryant’s at No. 4. That’s quite impressive for this power trio.

Elliott spoke on the sales report.

“It’s pretty humbling,” Elliott said, per the NFLPA. “When you’re a rookie, you’re just looking to put your head down, help the team, and learn the ropes. To accomplish this level of success off the field shows just how passionate football fans are in Dallas, Ohio, my home state of Missouri and all around the world. And to be up there with Dak and Dez, alongside great players like Tom Brady and Odell Beckham, is very special to me.”

Per the report, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s memorabilia was the third highest-selling, sandwiched between the Cowboys’ stars.

Among the top-selling players, 19 quarterbacks in all were represented in the top 50. One of those included rookie Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.

For what it is worth, Elliott had the most sales in McFarlane Toys figurines, with over 10,000 sold. Brady led the sales in kids’ T-shirts and jerseys and Wentz had the most bobblehead figures sold.

Go figure. We wish this crew success in in the 2017 NFL season. And congratulations to Elliott for topping the charts.
