After a year of his NFL dreams being put on hold, former Army Black Knights offensive tackle Brett Toth received his military waiver to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles and achieve his NFL dreams.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Toth is officially cleared to sign his three-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles and could join the team in the near future to pursue his NFL career.

Toth went undrafted in 2018, in part due to teams expecting he needed to serve his two-year military commitment. However, he tested fairly well during Army’s Pro Day in 2018 and likely would have drawn more attention had it not been for the expected service time commitment.

While the Eagles are deep at offensive tackle, Toth should get some opportunities during the remainder of the preseason to try and prove himself.
