Just days after Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid communicated his continued frustration about a seventh supposedly “random” drug test in 11 weeks, he has another legitimate gripe with the league’s front office.
On Friday, Reid tweeted out a video of a play he says the league fined him $20,054 for, despite the fact that it seems to be pretty weak, and that it was not flagged during Monday night’s game.
You be the judge.
Adding it to the file…
1) Legal play (even if it wasn’t, there’s minimal contact)
2) Was not flagged by officials
3) $20,054 fine from the league office #DulyNoted pic.twitter.com/H30AFcGdDs— Eric Reid (@E_Reid35) December 21, 2018
As Reid noted in his Twitter message, he’s “Adding it to the file,” which means he’s submitting this as further evidence in his collusion case against the NFL.
No doubt, Reid is appealing this fine.
