Reigning eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series champion Steven Wilson earned his first win of 2024, taking the checkered flag after three overtimes at a virtual Richmond Raceway on Tuesday.

It was the sixth career series victory for Wilson in the No. 10 Ford.

Wilson, of Iowa City, Iowa, said, “Really proud to have a win. A couple years ago I was doubting myself about how bad I am at short tracks, but I’ve just been trying to grind and learn, and we’ve been performing better than ever these last couple years on ‘em. So, just happy to be a winner at this short track and we’ll see happens, hopefully now in the playoffs.”

Tucker Minter came in second place in the No. 97 Chevrolet, 0.376 seconds behind Wilson. Zack Novak took third in the No. 5 Chevrolet, and Casey Kirwan came in fourth in the No. 77 Chevrolet. Kaden Honeycutt rounded out the top five in the No. 8 Chevrolet.

“I didn’t have too much confidence coming into tonight,” said Kirwan of Matthews, N.C. “I felt like I lacked a little bit of pace, but I think we were OK. We still lacked a little bit to guys like Steven.”

The top Toyota was the No. 11 of Vicente Salas, who placed sixth.

The series resumes April 9 on a virtual Brands Hatch in West Kingsdown, England, the site of the British Grand Prix 12 times from 1964 to 1986.
