The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy awarding contract extensions this month. On Friday, Philadelphia agreed to a four-year, $72 million extension with offensive tackle Lane Johnson.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Pro Bowl tackle is set to sign the largest contract for an offensive lineman in NFL history with its per-year salary and $54.595 million guaranteed.

The 29-year-old continues to perform at a high level on Philadelphia’s offensive line and will play a critical role in protecting quarterback Carson Wentz for years to come.

Philadelphia signed offensive guard Brandon Brooks to a four-year extension on Nov. 11, another move to help keep its strong offensive line together. The team also signed kicker Jake Elliott to a five-year extension before Thanksgiving.
