Draymond Green savagely trolls ESPN’s Brian Windhorst

Draymond Green

It’s safe to say that Draymond Green is not the president of the Brian Windhorst fan club. The Golden State Warriors’ All-Star made that abundantly clear on Wednesday night.

Green’s teammate, Kevin Durant was ejected from Tuesday’s game. Durant alleged that the referee was targeting him, comments he later apologized for. This came only weeks after Green was fined for comments he’d made about NBA officiating, saying that a “whole new crop” of referees would help.

Naturally, Durant’s comments were discussed by Windhorst on Wednesday’s “NBA Countdown.” Windhorst doubled back to reference Draymond’s comments.

Green was not exactly in a mood to let that slide.

Ouch.

Given Golden State’s rivalry with the Cleveland Cavaliers and how closely Windhorst has covered LeBron James, there’s not a whole lot of love between the Warriors and Windhorst. Certainly, this exchange is only going to add gasoline to the fire.
