After missing last week’s game with a concussion, Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler has passed through the league-mandated protocol and will start Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Not a surprise, but #Dolphins QB Jay Cutler is out of the NFL’s concussion protocol and will start Sunday, coach Adam Gase told reporters.

Miami was blown out by New England, 35-17, with Matt Moore replacing Cutler under center last week. It’s a game that saw Moore sacked seven times. Needless to say, Cutler’s health could be a concern once again in Week 13 with the likes of Von Miller and Shane Ray rushing the passer.
The Dolphins currently sit at 4-7 on the season are are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. It looks like the team will miss the playoffs after earning a rare postseason trip in 2016. One then has to wonder whether Cutler now only has a handful of games remaining in his career.
