Shortly after Dez Bryant was released by the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman expressed some interest in the receiver. Based on Barkley’s reaction after New York drafted Saquon Barkley on Thursday, we’d guess that the feeling is mutual.

Whether Bryant is coming to New York remains to be seen. He apparently wants to go to an NFC East rival.
But regardless of where Bryant ends up, it’s hard to dispute his point. Barkley was an absolute beast for Penn State in 2017. His talents, combined with those of Odell Beckham Jr., will make life very difficult on opposing defensive coordinators.
