Dallas Cowboys kicker Greg Zuerlein passed his physical and was activated off the physically unable to perform list Wednesday.

The move comes one day after the Cowboys waived kicker Lirim Hajrullahu. Zuerlein is working his way back from offseason back surgery.

Zuerlein, 33, spent his first eight NFL seasons with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams before signing a three-year contract with the Cowboys last season.

A Pro Bowl kicker in 2017, Zuerlein made 34 of 41 field-goal attempts in 2020 and 33 of 36 extra-point tries.

Zuerlein has converted 235 of 286 field-goal attempts and 297 of 306 extra-point tries in 135 career games with the Rams and Cowboys.
