The Chicago Cubs might have to adjust their season-opening rotation following the injury veteran starter Yu Darvish suffered during a Cactus League game on Tuesday.
Darvish, 32, had to exit the game against the Seattle Mariners in the fifth inning after a blister opened up on the ring finger of his throwing hand.

While the injury doesn’t seem to be serious, it’s important to note that Darvish was limited to just 40 innings last season while dealing with serious injuries to his elbow and triceps.
An injury of this ilk would normally cost a pitcher one or two starts. But given Darvish’s injury history, we’re expecting Chicago to take it slow with the four-time All-Star.
