Anthony Duclair was in for quite the little surprise Thursday at Arizona Coyotes practice when a letter hand delivered by a four-year-old fan included a marriage proposal.
Meet Gracie Hernandez, whose mother, Jenny, fosters her writing development by encouraging her to pen letters to her favorite team.

“Dear Duke, I’m Gracie, and I’m four. I love you! Are you happy to be back? Will you marry me?”
After a proposal such as that of course he had to say yes!

According to her mom, via Cristina Ledra of NHL.com, Gracie isn’t the only big fan. Her sister, Mia, sent letters to 10 players, Howler the mascot, and coach Dave Tippett last season. And Duclair wrote back to her, which made a big impression on the family.
“It’s just really cool,” Jenny said. “He’s obviously a phenomenal person to take time out of his busy schedule to do that.”
Obviously, Duclair has a huge heart. He’ll always have a place in Gracie’s from here on forward, as a huge cherry on top of this cuteness overload sundae.
