Dallas Cowboys starting safety Jayron Kearse needed assistance to walk off the field after sustaining an undisclosed injury during pre-game warmups on Sunday.
Kearse, however, returned from the locker room and began working with trainers ahead of the Cowboys’ game against the visiting Houston Texans.
The group of Donovan Wilson, Malik Hooker and Israel Mukuamu will man the position in some capacity should Kearse be unable to play.
Kearse, 28, has totaled 54 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery in nine games (all starts) this season.
