Miami Dolphins’ cornerback Cortland Finnegan announced his retirement after eight seasons in the NFL.
The announcement didn’t come without Finngegan taking a parting shot at former Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson.
This likely stems from an incident between Johnson and Finnegan back in 2010. In his retirement statement, Finnegan claimed that Johnson “hits like a bish.”

Finnegan has been known to antagonize wide receivers throughout the course of his career. Apparently Johnson was not in the mood for Finnegan’s tauntings that day.
Throughout his eight seasons in the NFL, Finnegan posted 18 interceptions and tallied over 500 tackles. He ends his career having played for three teams and earning one Pro Bowl appearance.
