Veteran NFL running back Ahmad Bradshaw has reportedly been cited with possession of marijuana stemming from an incident that took place in Ohio earlier this month.
According to WDTN.com, Bradshaw was stopped in Dayton for following too close to the car in front of him, at which point the officer found him to be in possession of marijuana. Interestingly enough, the passenger in Bradshaw’s car was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession. The site did not indicate the specific drug allegedly in the passenger’s possession.
Bradshaw, 28, is set to become a free agent in March. It remains to be seen whether this run-in with the law set into motion discipline from the National Football League, but that has to be expected.
