As most Americans are likely aware, the policy of this current administration right now is to separate children from parents who are seeking asylum in the United States by illegally crossing our borders.
It’s an issue that has sparked emotional responses from people who view it from both sides. On Wednesday, Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul chimed in with his thoughts, while at the same time advocating for parents to take the time to discuss it with their own children.
Can't imagine how I'm going to talk to my kids about this… To all parents reading this, please slow down and take the time today to talk to your children. This is not who we are and this does not reflect our values. #WeGottaDoBetter pic.twitter.com/NirYmYEh0n

Anyone with children would have to agree that this is a heart-wrenching situation.
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump did say he would sign an executive order that will end this policy of separating children from their parents.
