To say that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been playing out of his mind would be an understatement.

The four-time Pro Bowler entered Sunday night’s Week 13 NFL game having caught 37 passes for 582 yards and eight touchdowns over his past four outings. It sure looked like Hill was once again going to make sweet music with Patrick Mahomes against the Denver Broncos.

That’s when the Chiefs failed their star receiver in every possible way.

Rightfully, the pass was ruled incomplete live. How could anyone in real time believe that Tyreek Hill somehow came away with the catch?

That’s what instant replay is for. If you check it out in slow motion you’ll find out that Hill somehow made what would have been one of the greatest catches in NFL history.

How the Chiefs’ coaching staff opted not to throw a challenge flag is beyond comprehension. If nothing else, make 100% sure Tyreek Hill did not come down with the ball. The review would have clearly shown that he did.

This is no small thing. Despite being major favorites over the division-rival Broncos, Kansas City was mired in a 3-3 slugfest at the time of this call. Denver would go on to eventually take a 10-3 first-half lead.
