Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes not happy about Barry Bonds’ Hall of Fame snub

Kansas City Chiefs first-round pick Patrick Mahomes has a pretty hilarious response to a Twitter troll.

All-time Major League Baseball home run king Barry Bonds was not among the four former players to be elected as the Hall of Fame class of 2018 on Wednesday.

As has been the case throughout a divisive post-MLB career, the exclusion of Bonds from this year’s class brought on a ton of different opinions in the social media world (read them here).

Apparently, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in the group of people who believe Bonds was snubbed big time. And he didn’t even have to write one single word to let us know how he felt.

Bonds’ on-field resume is among the best in the history of the game. That’s not in question. It’s the steroid allegations against him and his attitude with the same media that votes on the Hall of Fame that has played the largest role here.

Mahomes is in the group that believes Bonds’ stats and on-field success should be the determining factor, not his attitude with the media or alleged doping during a time when baseball was full of steroid use.
