On Tuesday morning, it was reported that Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star big man Kevin Love had signed a fourh-year, $120 million extension with the team. That brings the total value of his contract to $145 million over five seasons.
Certainly, Love is a good player. But it would be hard to find one objective person who thinks he’s worth this cash. Given that Cleveland should have gone into full-scale rebuild mode following the loss of LeBron James, that’s magnified further.
Once the deal was reported, Twitter did its thing. Check out the best reactions here.
