Carson Wentz to replace Mike Pence at National Prayer Breakfast

This is very cool. According to a report by TMZ Sports, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz got called to fill in for Vice President Mike Pence at Thursday’s National Prayer Breakfast.

Can anyone imagine receiving such a call? Pence will not be available due to his presence being required for the start of the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

So, the next man up will be Wentz who will serve as the keynote speaker for this prestigious event. And, this all happens after Wentz and the Eagles parade through Philadelphia to celebrate winning Super Bowl LII.

This comes after news of the quarterback’s recent engagement. Known as a highly religious figure within the Eagles’ locker room, this has to be a major honor for the former MVP candidate.
