The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will activate Jason Pierre-Paul ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, and he will play.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times shared this welcome news on Saturday.
Pierre-Paul has been out of commission ever since suffering a fracture in his neck following a single-car accident back in April. He opened the season on the NFI list and was recently cleared to resume football training.
Getting Pierre-Paul back in action should be a boon to the Bucs’ defense. He tallied 58 tackles and 12.5 sacks last year in his first campaign with Tampa Bay following a trade from New York.
