The Cleveland Browns made a head coaching move that fans highly approve of. They promoted offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens to head coach, which keeps other teams in need of a coach from being able to woo him away from Cleveland.
Kitchens took over the play-calling duties in Week 9 and the team thrived as a result — winning five of its eight final games.
Let’s check in and see just how thrilled the Cleveland fan base is.

Freddie Kitchens was the quarterback for the first Alabama game I ever went to, a 37-0 blowout of Ole Miss in 1996. And now he's the Browns head coach. Good luck and Roll Tide, Freddie.

I have not had an NFL team that i pull for in YEARS! This year I pulled for the #browns because I shot their commercial as well as getting to meet some of the fine people in that organization. The hiring of #FreddieKitchens means I am going to be a fan for a long time.

Freddie Kitchens once said, “It costs absolutely nothing to be nice and you’re kind of the author of your own story.” I have a feeling your story is just getting started, Thick. #Browns

This is an incredible opportunity for Freddie Kitchens, and he earned it! https://t.co/DnnmauDnfS

If Freddie Kitchens wins more than 10 games next season, its a great hire…

Time will tell, but I love the Freddie Kitchens hire. He’s direct, has a refreshing perspective and seems to be a perfect culture fit for this team, and this city at this time. Oh, and go look at Baker’s #’s with him as OC. You won’t find better for a rookie in NFL history.
