Both Eagles and Seahawks reportedly unaware of Michael Bennett situation

This Friday delivers shocking news when it comes to new Philadelphia Eagles Michael Bennett. According to a report, Bennett has been indicted by a Harris County Grand Jury on felony charges related to him allegedly injuring a 66-year-old paraplegic woman at Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston.

As more light is being shed on this breaking news, it would appear the Eagles and Bennett’s former Seattle Seahawks teamĀ were not aware of the 2017 incident.

An arrest warrant was issued for Bennett and he faces charges that include up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The incident took place when Bennett allegedly injured the elderly woman when he pushed his way to the field of NRG Stadium to celebrate his brother Martellus’ victory with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI.

It will be interesting to see if either Bennett’s former Seahawks team or the Eagles issue any type of official statement following the indictment.

We will of course be covering any news when it comes to this particular Bennett situation as it breaks.
