Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips will go on injured reserve following wrist surgery, coach Sean McDermott confirmed Thursday.

McDermott also said starting safety Micah Hyde (neck) is not expected to play Saturday night when the Bills (8-6) visit the Los Angeles Chargers (5-9).

A trip to IR means the end of the regular season for Phillips, who started nine of his 14 games this season and registered 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He injured his wrist in last Sunday’s victory against the Dallas Cowboys and had surgery after the game.

Phillips, 31, has played in 120 games (62 starts), recording 24 sacks and 36 tackles for loss with the Miami Dolphins (2015-18), Bills (2018-19, 2022-23) and Arizona Cardinals (2020-21).

Hyde, 32, is still recovering from a neck stinger sustained in a Week 14 win at Kansas City and was listed as a limited participant for practices on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hyde has recorded 49 tackles and two interceptions in 12 starts this season, his seventh with Buffalo. He has posted 639 tackles, five sacks and 24 picks in 156 games (126 starts) with the Green Bay Packers (2013-16) and Bills.
